On Thursday 17th September, Simon Pugh-Jones will be giving a talk at the Bristol University Botanical Gardens titled: “Returning Cymbidium whiteae to the cloud kingdom” The lecture takes place at Churchill Hall at 7.30pm.  Tickets are £6 for Friends and £7.50 for non-Friends. A date for everyone’s diaries is Saturday 27th June where we will be holding the Orchid conservation international meeting at Writhlington.  They day will include a lecture, tours of the greenhouses and ‘Have a go at Microprop’. sessions.  Please see the OCI Website for further information.

We are really excited to be hosting this summer’s OCI meeting at Writhlington School.  The event will include a special lecture about the Writhlington Orchid Project, Have-A-Go-at-Microprop. sessions and tours of the greenhouses and labs. The event is free to OCI members, £10 to non-members (refundable from OCI membership).
