0 Comments - Durban Approaches!

By Luke Barnes | October 27, 2009

The orchid project expedition to Durban, South Africa and the BGCI is now fast approaching!  Zoe and Zoe, along with Simon and Dr Lauren Gardiner (who you may remember from our Sikkim expedition) are flying out this Friday (30th).

During this period the team out there will be taking over my job of blogging – meaning that here is the one and only place to get all of the up-to-date information, along with what their doing and photos uploaded straight from the conference!

As always, comments are not only welcome, but encouraged on all posts we make – but particularly about the live expedition posts.  We’ve been having some problems with spam – so do-not fret if your comment isn’t live right away!

This is my 6th year involved with the project and now run the Micropropagation Lab and administer the website. I've been to Sikkim, in the Himalayas and also to the Cape Town flower show and am looking forward to going to Laos later this year. My favourite orchid probably has to be Coelogyne cristata.
